A premium tarka gravy to make authentic vegan curries with vegetables, tofu and plant protein (plant meats).
You can choose fresh vegetables from spinach, eggplant, capsicum, potato, cauliflower, mushroom, broccoli, pumpkin, carrot, peas, kumara, cabbage, beans & courgette.
You can also use frozen vegetable & mixes.
If using tofu, it is best to use hard tofu with Sabzi Tarka Gravy – especially if you are going to cut tofu in cubes and pre-cook by stir frying in oil. This enhances the flavour and gives a “bite” to tofu.
Plant proteins (plant meats) are becoming ever more popular and its best to dice them into bite size and pre-cook by stir frying in oil.
All herbs, spices, onion and tomato are included in the Sabzi Tarka Gravy to make an authentic medium spiced vegan curry.
Vegan curries go well with roti, parotta, basmati rice, naan, breads and in toasted sandwiches, pita pockets & paninis.
