Masoor dhal is made with brown lentils & is a satisfying hearty home favourite. This premium Masoor Dhal Tarka gravy base will get you to make this traditional Dhal perfect, every time! This dhal is inviting as it is aromatic.
Simply add water & the Tarka gravy to dry brown lentils & cook in a slow cooker – it’s that easy!
This Tarka can get you to make either a DRY dhal ideal for wraps and pita pockets, or a GRAVY dhal that goes great with basmati rice, naan or breads.
NB: If you want to make a GRAVY dhal, you can add all the water at the beginning and cook. Once the dhal is cooked, add creams slowly as required to reach the right consistency.
