Punjabi Chole are made with chickpeas from the Punjab regions. They are heavenly and just scrumptious. This premium Punjabi Chole Tarka gravy base will get you to make Punjabi Chole perfect, every time! This dish is enticing as it is aromatic full of flavour explosions.
Simply boil the Tarka gravy with water in a fry pan & add to chickpeas that have been cooked in a slow cooker – it’s that easy!
This Tarka can get you to make either a DRY dish ideal for salads, wraps and pita pockets, or a GRAVY dish that goes great with basmati rice, naan or breads.
NB: If you want to make a GRAVY chole, you can add all the water at the beginning while cooking the chickpeas. Once the chole are cooked, add creams slowly as required to reach the right consistency.
