A classic Tarka gravy base to make a traditional Tikka Masala curry from the Northern regions with a creamy tomato sauce and aromatic spices. Simply add your veges, soy or protein to the Tikka Tarka gravy base & sauté. Add creams, garnish & serve – it’s that easy!
This Tarka can get you to make either a DRY curry ideal for salads, wraps and pita pockets, or a GRAVY curry that goes great with basmati rice, naan or breads.
NB: If you want to make a GRAVY curry, it is best to make a DRY curry first, to help infuse the spices. Then add water and creams slowly to build the gravy.
